God Loves Us

When we hear this statement we automatically we automatically hear the scripture “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 ESV). This is true, God loves us and his love for us is unmatched.
God's love is unconditional meaning there are no limits. God's love is limitless. I'm reminded of the story of the prodigal son who left but then returned even though he left and participated in riotous living his father welcomed him back home and loved him as if he never left.

The same thing applies with us and our heavenly father. God our father is not mad at you but he is simply mad about you. When we go through certain situations and we experience certain things many ask well how can God love me when I'm fornicating, masturbating, participating in abominable things? God yet loves us! He's yet standing with open arms ready to welcome us back. God's love for us is unmatched, song writer said that we've searched all over and couldn't find anyone that can love us like you. His love isn't selfish, its sacrificial. “God so loved the world that He gave…”

He gave his son as a sacrifice, with a heavy price. Our FREEDOM, is what he gave in return. Just another reminder about his unwavering love for us we find in Romans 5:8 “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Hold on on, don't give up and don't throw in the towel.

If you don't know Jesus today as your Lord and Savior, and you have not accepted him in your life. This is the prime moment for you to have an encounter with him.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

At the age of 12 I was diagnosed with a condition or disease called Scoliosis. This is an incurable condition it can be treated but I've been told there's no cure. Scoliosis occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty.  Most cases are mild with few symptoms. Some children develop spine deformities that get more severe as they grow. Severe scoliosis can be painful and disabling. Often, no treatment is necessary. Sometimes a brace or surgery is needed. Scoliosis is very common, in fact there has been more than 3 million cases reported a year.  With scoliosis you may experience leaning to one side, muscle spasms, physical deformity, or uneven waist.

Anyone that knew me at the time will remember the 3 back braces I had to wear with the attempt to straighten my spine .... #fail I outgrew each of them never worked .... took physical therapy to help alleviate the pain because no medications would stop the pain ... Once my tailbone would start hurting the pain would last up to an hour... I had to sleep without pillows I had to lay a certain way .... Before we found out the diagnosis my mom was actually doing my hair for an event and a braid she was putting in FELL OUT!! Of course she was confused and didn't want to startle me so I wore those thick headbands to hide the bald spot ... my pediatrician at the time gave me a referral to a dermatologist they had me using special shampoos my mom had to figure something out FAST so even at that age I still wore ponytails to hide the bald spots that were becoming a norm.... but like any child I still played sports and wanted to be normal it wasn't until my mom complained to my doctor that something was wrong that I finally got a MRI a two day test ..... the results came back and boom there it was ....
Fast Forward to 2019 and GOD HEALED ME!! I am in tears thankful ... for years I battled this pain, in fear of what could happen if things progressed such as a punctured organ ....
God HEALED ME!!!
NEXT UP DIABETES!! I BELIEVE GOD AND I AM THANKFUL!!
